One of the best and worst examples of modern Steampunk, complete with its own Captain Nemo, Allan Quatermain, Mina Harker, Dr. Jeckyll/Mr. Hyde, and Dorian Gray. Although this film is a significant deviation from the original graphic novel, these legendary characters from Victorian literature do a fairly decent job of recreating the Victorian aesthetic.
